Just like Match of the Day, here are the highlights of One Direction crooner Louis Tomlinson making his debut for Doncaster Rovers...well, playing 25 minutes for the Doncaster reserve team against Rotherham at a screaming Keepmoat Stadium, packed with 5,000 'Directioners'.

Rovers fan Tomlinson, one fifth of the multi-million selling boyband, agreed a non-contract deal last summer as part of an ongoing association with the club in aid of Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.

The 22-year-old Bessacarr boy missed out on a planned appearance in September after being injured in a charity fixture after colliding with Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor.

Unfortunately, the presence of Tomlinson could not inspire the Rovers reserves - the match finished a rather drab goalless draw.

"Really can't thank the team, the gaffer and every single person involved at Doncaster Rovers enough! I feel like a 10 year old again!" Tomlinson wrote in his post-match tweet.
