The outcome of a bid by West Ham to move into the Olympic Stadium should be revealed today.

The club's plan is favourite among four being considered by the London Legacy Development Corporation board. The key factor is whether West Ham are prepared to pay an extra £25m towards the £160m cost of converting the stadium from its 80,000 Olympics size to a 60,000-capacity arena, rather than the £15m they have offered.

West Ham have denied that their striker Andy Carroll was involved in a physical confrontation with a photographer in Dublin while on a team Christmas trip.
