Arsene Wenger worst fears could soon be realised.

Arsenal's talisman Alexis Sanchez, was forced off with a hamstring injury in the 59th minute in the Gunners Premier League game against Norwich today, and limped down the tunnel.

Wenger said before the game that Sanchez had a hamstring problem, and his risk has returned to haunt him. This week, Wenger revealed that Sanchez has suffered a "hamstring alarm" in the 3-0 win Champions League over Dinamo Zagreb.

"It is not maybe the best moment to rest Sanchez. He had a little hamstring alarm but we will see how he recovers from that," Wenger said.

Sanchez was replaced by Joel Campbell.

The Gunners had earlier lost defender Laurent Koscielny to a stomach problem.
