Manchester United new boy Ander Herrera can't wait to get started for his new club.

In his first interview in English the £29m midfielder said he feels "lucky" to be working with "one of the best managers in the world."

"Yes of course [I can't wait to get started under Louis van Gaal.] I think he's one of the best managers in the world," said Herrera on MUTV.

"I feel lucky to work with him and I can to learn a lot of things.

"I can't wait to play for Van Gaal and with my team-mates and for Manchester United."

Herrera, 24, made his big money move from Athletic Bilbao earlier this week.

Manchester United have also moved quickly to bring in Luke Shaw from Southampton - the 18-year-old became the world's most expensive teenager.
