Manchester United look set to avoid losing another of their brightest prospects with reports that Andreas Pereira will agree a new deal.

The 19-year-old Brazilian is out of contract this summer and there had been fears he would make an exit from Old Trafford with PSG leading the chase for his signature. Juventus, Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven have also been linked with the midfielder.

Manchester United found with the exit of Paul Pogba to Juventus in 2012 that there are no guarantees their most promising players will remain at the club. The Frenchman's development since departing has only made that more accute.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Pereira is ready to sign a new contract despite knocking back an initial offer. Pereira, who joined the club from PSV in 2012, made his first Premier League appearance last month in the 3-0 win over Tottenham.
