West Ham striker Andy Carroll had an hilarious response when asked what he would get team-mate Carl Jenkinson for Christmas.
Carroll joked that he would get right-back Jenkinson, on loan from Arsenal for the season, "some banter if I could, because he has absolutely zero. He is the weirdest man ever."
Carlton Cole, meanwhile, said he would get striker Senegalese striker Diafra Sakho, who joined the club from Ligue 1 side Metz in the summer, some new clobber.

"I'd have to buy him some gear. His footwear is atrocious. I don't it," Cole said. "He's got some plimsolls he wears and I don't understand it. I don't know if it's the in thing in France but he needs to get his footwear up to date."

Team spirit is clearly high at West Ham this season, with the Hammers sitting pretty in fourth-place, two points ahead of fifth-placed Southampon.
