Danny Welbeck’s late headed winner against Leicester City not only sealed three points for Arsenal, but also struck a potentially decisive blow in the title race.

Claudio Ranieri’s league leaders saw their advantage at the top of the table cut to two points following the defeat and, having looked on the wane in recent weeks, the Gunners’ title challenge has been reinvigorated.

The bookmakers, unsurprisingly, have reacted to this afternoon’s result by slashing the price on Arsene Wenger’s men winning their first league title since their ‘Invincibles’ season in 2003/04.

BetVictor have cut the Gunners to 6/4 (from 9/4) favourites to be crowned Premier League champions, with the Foxes eased out to 3/1 (from 7/4), making them second favourites.

Manchester City remain a 7/2 shout while their opponents on Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur, are fourth-favourites at 9/2.

Premier League title prices from BetVictor

Arsenal - 6/4 (From 9/4)

Leicester - 3/1 (from 7/4)

Manchester City - 7/2

Tottenham - 9/2
