Arsenal CAN win the Premier League title... according to 57 per cent of The Independent's readers
57 per cent of 2,646 voters answered yes in our poll
On Thursday, we lined up a few reasons why Arsene Wenger's Arsenal, currently third in the Premier League, could still win the Premier League title.
Chelsea may have a six point lead and a game in hand at the top of the table, but the Gunners are the Premier League's form team while the Blues have not convinced in quite a while - the two teams also meet at the Emirates at the end of April in what is looking like a key battle in the title race.
After handing the vote to the public, a good majority of you were sure that Arsenal are not out of if yet.
Since New Year's Day the Gunners have won nine and lost just one of their Premier League matches, the north London derby at White Hart Lane, and won all of their last six, the best record of any team over that same period.
We asked 'Can Arsenal still win the Premier League?' and the response saw 2,646 of you cast a vote.
The 'Yes' campaign eventually won by a majority, taking home 1,510 votes (57 per cent) to 1,140 votes for 'No'.
With Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United still to play, and some fixtures against relegation candidates Burnley, Hull and Sunderland, Arsene Wenger's team certainly have a chance.
Watch out Jose Mourinho.
Arsenal's remaining Premier League fixtures: Liverpool (H), Burnley (A), Chelsea (H), Hull (A), Swansea (H), Manchester United (A), Sunderland (H), West Brom (H)
