Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is still not fit enough to return to action but the midfielder is now back in for training with the Arsenal squad.

The 21-year-old has not played for the Gunners since he was taken off in the FA Cup win against Manchester United on 9 March with a hamstring problem.

That injury then led to another injury with his groin and Arsenal feared that the England man may not play again this season.

But Arsene Wenger confirmed that Oxlade-Chamberlain is now back amongst the first-team with the club hopeful of a return before the end of the season.

Mathieu Debuchy is also out, now with a hamstring injury he suffered in training, according to Arsene Wenger. The French right-back has played just once, in the FA Cup semi-final, since dislocating his shoulder against Stoke in January.

Abou Diaby is also training with the first-team but is not yet ready and Mikel Arteta "needs more time", although he is "making progress week by week".

Arsenal travel to Hull on Monday night.
