Mesut Ozil's incredible assist and goal helped Arsenal to a comprehensive 5-0 win over poor Aston Villa at the Emirates this Sunday.
The Gunners were missing top scorer Alexis Sanchez, who has registered more goals (12) than all Villa players put together, due to a hamstring injury but had the German international in fine fettle today.
Olivier Giroud scored first on eight minutes after picking up a fantastic back-heeled pass by Ozil.
Arsene Wenger’s men were not done, however, as the 26-year-old doubled the lead on 56 minutes before Theo Walcott fired a third seven minutes later.
Santi Cazorla made it four when Arsenal were handed a penalty after Chuba Akpom was tripped down by Brad Guzan.
The American failed to keep out the Spaniard's spot-kick for goal No 4.
Hector Bellerin made things worse for Paul Lambert’s team as he scored the fifth and final goal in the closing minutes with a delightfully placed shot from outside the box.
