Arsenal completed their final pre-season fixture prior to next weekend's Community Shield with a 1-0 victory over Wolfsburg.

Their Bundesliga opponents put up a much tougher fight than Saturday's opponents Lyon, who Arsenal beat 6-0.

The difference was a second-half goal from Theo Walcott with the victory meaning Arsenal won the Emirates Cup for the first time since 2010.

The match saw Petr Cech make his home debut following his £11m switch from Chelsea.
