Unai Emery praises Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as Arsenal reach Europa League final

Arsenal’s final game before their Europa League final date against Chelsea in Baku sees them travel to Burnley on the final day of the Premier League season.

The Gunners will finish outside the top four for a third consecutive season, barring a thumping win at Turf Moor and a humiliating defeat for Tottenham at home to Everton, following a run of three defeats and a draw in their last four games.

However, their hopes of Champions League football next season are still alive after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s hat-trick inspired Arsenal to a 7-3 aggregate win over Valencia to advance to the final in Azerbaijan.

Unai Emery is consequently likely to rest some of his main stars but will regardless face a fight to take something away from Turf Moor after their dreadful away form this season.

Burnley have not won in the Premier League for nearly a month now but pushed Manchester City to their limit on their last outing on home turf.

What time does it start?

Prediction… Burnley 2-1 Arsenal

Arsenal may view this game as a dress rehearsal in preparation for the Europa League final, but given that the showdown with Chelsea in Baku takes place 17 days after the final day of the Premier League season, Unai Emery may be tempted to rest his key men rather than risk injury.

Burnley have been indifferent at home this season but having been edged by last-gasp winners by the Gunners in recent seasons, the Clarets will see this as a perfect opportunity to exact some revenge.
