Chelsea misfit Juan Cuadrado to adorn cover of FIFA16 after shock poll result
The Colombian joins Lionel Messi on the cover of the Latin American version of the hugely popular game
Juan Cuadrado is not the most popular of players at Chelsea following his difficult start to life at Stamford Bridge, however the Colombian appears to remain hugely popular in Latin America.
Whilst his name won't be seen on the back of many Blues shirts in west London, his face will be found on the cover of FIFA16 in Latin America.
That's because he beat the likes of Edinson Cavani and Sergio Aguero in a fan vote to accompany Lionel Messi on the regional front cover of the hugely popular game.
As well as Manchester City striker Aguero and PSG's Cavani, Cuadrado beat Claudio Bravo of Barcelona, Jose Rondon of Zenit St Petersburg and Carlos Zambrano of Frankfurt.
Cuadrado joined Chelsea last January in a £26m deal, but despite his heft price-tag, made little impact. Jose Mourinho granted him just four starts in 12 Premier League appearances during which the Colombian failed to find the back of the net once.
