Eden Hazard would struggle to turn down offer from Real Madrid or Barcelona, says Diego Costa
Having returned to form this season, the Belgian has been subsequently linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge
Chelsea’s Diego Costa has admitted that team-mate Eden Hazard would struggle to down turn an offer from Real Madrid or Barcelona should either one of the La Liga giants come calling.
Having returned to form this season, the Belgian has been subsequently linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
The 26-year-old managed just four Premier League goals last season as Chelsea failed to defend their domestic title, finishing in 10th with 50 points to their name.
But under manager Antonio Conte Hazard has enjoyed a revival in form, chipping in with 11 league goals to help propel Chelsea to the top of the league.
Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has also been linked alongside Hazard with a move to La Liga and Costa insisted he was not surprised by such reports given the quality of the two players.
"F***! If Real Madrid signing Hazard and Thibaut... poor Chelsea! Hazard is f****** amazing, he's a top, top player," Costa recently told Onda Cero.
"Barcelona or Real Madrid are going to watch him at any time. Hazard is happy here but when a team like these knocks at the door you have to think about it. He's a world-class player."
