Petr Cech has a virus and is out of Chelsea’s squad for the late kick off game against Sunderland on Saturday as Demba Ba drops to the bench.
Chelsea play against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday and Mark Schwarzer starts in goal for Chelsea with Cech out through illness.
Samuel Eto’o replaces Ba who had scored two vital goals in the Blue’s last two games, while Oscar replaces Andre Schurrle in midfield.
Sunderland manager Gus Poyet has named an unchanged side from the team that drew 2-2 with Manchester City on Wednesday.
