FEELING ROUGH?

This will no doubt have been a week full of celebration for Chelsea, and rightly so, after securing the Premier League title again last week. With nothing left to play for, will Jose’s boys be suffering from a title winning hangover, or will they be as focused as ever? If Mourinho’s past is anything to go by, it will most definitely be the latter.

STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED

Three weeks ago, the fourth Champions League spot seemed set in stone. However, three defeats in a row for rivals Manchester United and Liverpool are back in the picture…just. Can they do it? Stranger things have happened.

A COSTA EFFECTIVE RISK?

With the title sewn up for the boys in Blue, risking Diego Costa in the remaining games may prove more harm than good. There is no doubt Chelsea are a better side with him in the side, but with their target already achieved, maybe we'll see a potential star like Dominic Solanke given a chance. Or perhaps it will be a last hurrah for Didier Drogba.

GERRARD’S FINAL COMEBACK?

Steven Gerrard has pulled Liverpool through some memorable victories in the past, when all seemed lost. Now closing on his Liverpool career, he will be hoping for one last moment of glory as captain, to drag the Reds into the Champions League.

IT’S A CLASSIC

Chelsea vs Liverpool has long been a game that produces goals and excitement. It’s a heavyweight clash and Liverpool have to go for it - the game should be a cracker.

PAYBACK

It was Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea who beat Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool at Anfield last year, to effectively end the Red’s title charge. Although this game is not as crucial as that one, Rodgers and Co will be hoping for payback against his old tutor nonetheless.

BORING BORING CHELSEA

Much has been made in recent weeks at the seemingly ‘boring’ nature of Chelsea’s play. However, with the title secured, Jose could let the shackles off and return to the Chelsea who thrilled and excited spectators before Christmas.
