Hello and welcome to coverage from Goodison Park as Everton host Newcastle United.

We'll hand over to the official Twitter feeds of both clubs for full coverage from the ground.

  • After an expensive January, in which they were the top spending Premier League club, Steve McClaren will be keen to prove his new boys were worth the £25million outlay.
  • Newcastle are still in the relegation zone but a win could move them up above Norwich City and into 17th.
  • The good news for the visitors is that on-loan striker Seydou Doumbia has received a permit and is clear to play on Merseyside.
  • Andros Townsend could also make his debut for the club, while Jack Colback and Paul Dummett are back from injuries.
  • Unfortunately for the Toffees, their own deadline day striker, Oumar Niasse, hasn't yet been cleared to play after his £13.5m move from Lokomotiv Moscow.
  • Roberto Martinez's team, winless in five, can move back into the top half with victory on home soil.
  • Tim Howard is having a late fitness test but Kevin Mirallas and Muhamed Besic will definitely miss the game.
