Cardiff City host Fulham on Saturday – 19 v 20 – and Cardiff defender Ben Turner admitted that the importance of this game exceeds anything that has gone before this season.

“If those were must-win games,” Turner said, looking back on recent home games with West Ham, Norwich, Aston Villa and Hull, “then our game with Fulham is whatever is more than a must-win.” Cardiff have won one game this year and Turner knows they need to improve. “We definitely have to have the belief and to win our home games. We have to beat Fulham and then look for four wins after that.”
