Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League with a comfortable 2-0 victory over a Fulham side that has slipped closer towards relegation to the Championship.
Any hope that Fulham had of holding out the reigning champions went inside five minutes as Bernardo Silva struck with a well-executed effort from the edge of the area, and within minutes the lead was doubled as Sergio Aguero struck from a narrow angle.
From there, City were expected to push on. But the goals dried up and the only blemish from there on saw Pep Guardiola have to replace Aguero with what looked to be a minor injury, with Fulham failing to find any way back into the game. Re0live the action below.

Recent results and the league table in general suggest City will win this at a canter.
Guardiola has had a number of his stars performing at their best in recent weeks, and that was before the return of Kevin de Bruyne, Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho and John Stones to training this week.
Meanwhile Fulham are in dire straits, and their inability to muster a draw from either the Chelsea or Liverpool game has allowed fellow strugglers to take advantage and has seen the gap between the London club and safety grow.
If the likes of Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane maintain their goalscoring form with England and Germany recently in this game, this will be a comfortable victory for City.

After a brief international interlude, the Premier League returns, and as we enter the home straight proceedings could not be more interesting.
There's a battle at the bottom, a mid-table scramble, a top-four tussle and, most excitingly, a proper title race afoot, and it is at the top the weekend starts.

Team News - Fulham
Fulham's rotating door policy on selection continues. Scott Parker names a side without a recognised striker, Aleksandar Mitrovic the notable absentee with Ryan Sessegnon, Floyd Ayite and Ryan Babel a speedy triumvirate leading the line.
Team News - Manchester City
The international break was something of a boon for Pep Guardiola as his squad now close to full strength. Kevin De Bruyne returns in midfield and England's star Raheem Sterling will look to continue his fine form against a shaky Fulham defence.
And, well, just take a look at that bench...
It has been a busy week for The Independent's football team with the naming of our Premier League 100, a definitive (note: not definitive) ranking of the best players England has seen since the league's inception.

So, to the title race.
Manchester City are two points behind Liverpool and will have their eyes on usurping their rivals this afternoon, particularly with Tottenham, a common opponent in these closing stages, the tricky visitors to Anfield tomorrow afternoon.
With a look at the ins-and-outs of managing a title race, it's Miguel Delaney:
It's been a baptism of fire for Scott Parker at the helm in West London, Chelsea, Leicester, Liverpool and now Manchester City his first four Premier League opponents.
That's quite a step up for a manager light on experience, particularly given he's seen two head coach go already this season.
Parker was so much more than the battler some suggest he was in his playing career, but his spirit and fighting quality are far from bad things in Fulham's current predicament.
It looks like it may be a five-at-the-back this afternoon, with that front three designed to catch an over-confident City out with pace over the top.
It is Kick It Out's Week of Action, with the group celebrating 25 years of fighting for equality in football. Both sets of players are adorned in shirts sporting the organisation's logo, and given the high-profile and rather worrying events in Montenegro, it's an important gesture. There is still so, so much more work to do, sadly.
