Jose Mourinho is already hard at work following his appointment as manager of Manchester United. That is, at least, if his second-ever Instagram post is anything to go by.

On Saturday morning, Mourinho uploaded a picture of a red folder with the caption ‘Back to work’ on the social network, following the photograph of his United contract in his first post.

Inside the folder, a piece of paper with the club’s logo and the title ‘Summer with Euro 2016 and Copa America 2016' was visible.

Mourinho’s post has excited supporters, with many in the comments assuming that the binders contain the names of this summer’s transfer targets.

The former Chelsea, Internazionale and Real Madrid coach expected to lead a major overhaul of United squad this summer.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Karim Benzema and John Stones are just three players who have been identified as targets by the new coach, though their names are unlikely to feature in the aforementioned binder.

The title, ‘Summer with Euro 2016 and Copa America 2016', suggests that Mourinho’s pictured notes relate to the players who will be away on international duty this summer.

Nine of the club’s players are expected to represent their countries at the tournament in France, including Marcus Rashford, who scored on his England debut against Australia on Friday.

Three others – Marcos Rojo, Sergio Romero and Antonio Valencia, are likely to be included in their respective national teams’ squads for this year’s Copa America.
