It’s a big game for…

JASON PUNCHEON: Creative midfielder Puncheon is yet to score this season for Crystal Palace and with another striker out at the weekend in Dwight Gayle, Alan Pardew’s midfielders will have to help out with the goals. Yohan Cabaye has four, but Puncheon could do with his first of the campaign.

Best stat…

9: Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez has the most goals and assists combined total in the Premier League – five goals and four assists. He was left on the bench last time out against Southampton, but came on to assist Jamie Vardy’s last-minute winner.

Remember when…

Steve Claridge scored the winner in the last minute of extra time to send Leicester City into the Premier League. It was May 1996 and with the Division One play-off final heading for a penalty shootout at 1-1, Claridge popped up to smash the ball past Palace keeper Nigel Martyn.

Player to watch…

JAMIE VARDY: After his two goals which saved a point at St. Mary’s last weekend, it’s hard to argue with the fact that Vardy is the in-form player in the Premier League at the moment. The goals were his eighth and ninth of the season and he remains top of the scoring charts.
