Frenchman tweets his delight as Reds slip up in Premier League title race

Manchester City players were understandably delighted as Liverpool slipped up in the Premier League title race, with some even taking to social media to express their joy.

Brendan Rodgers' side somehow managed to let a three-goal lead disappear against Crystal Palace, with the Reds leaving Selhurst Park with just a point.

It was a result that puts City even more firmly in command in the battle for the title, with the Citizens now needing four points from their final two games to be sure of winning the league.

Samir Nasri led the expressions of joy, tweeting: "What a game, what a league , i love crystal palace so much now our turn to do the job"

Meanwhile, Edin Dzeko posted an Instagram picture of himself along with the words: "Get in! #believe #together #mcfc"

Aleksandar Kolarov was also on Twitter - labelling the Premier League the 'best in the world' after watching the incredible turnaround at Selhurst Park.

While the point for Liverpool was enough to take them back to the summit of the table, Manchester City play Aston Villa at the Etihad on Wednesday knowing a draw will be enough for them to go top heading into the final day of the season.
