Liverpool team news: Jurgen Klopp names side to face Newcastle

The table-topping Reds face the Magpies at Anfield

Jurgen Klopp has made three changes for the visit of Newcastle.

The Reds sat four points clear at Christmas and will be hoping to at least maintain that advantage when they welcome Rafa Benitez's Magpies to Anfield.

Trent Alexander-Arnold comes in at right-back in place of Nathaniel Clyne while Georginio Wijnaldum is handed a start in the centre of midfield. In-form Xherdan Shaqiri also starts with Fabinho dropping down to the bench.

James Milner is ruled out due to a hamstring injury.
