Liverpool travel to Newcastle this weekend to invoke memories of those classic meetings in the mid-90s.

Those that remember the couple of fixtures that ended 4-3 will know that if Saturday's early kick-off manages to be just half as entertaining we'll be in for a cracker.

Newcastle come into the game having found some form - three wins from three for Alan Pardew's side - including a particularly impressive victory in their most recent outing against Manchester City in the Capital One Cup.

With the fans at St James' Park likely to ease off their own manager, they'll focus on making it a difficult trip for Liverpool.

The Reds are yet to start firing on all cylinders - certainly in comparison to last season. But at least Mario Balotelli 'finally' managed to find the back of the net in midweek and he will have another chance on Saturday in the continued absence of Daniel Sturridge.

Liverpool's main forward is the biggest loss for Liverpool. Whilst Liverpool are not dealing with any suspensions, there are others out. Here we take a look who.

Who do you think will win at St James' Park? Let us know in the comments below.
