Jürgen Klopp has decided to retain Loris Karius as his goalkeeper for Liverpool's Premier League meeting with Hull City.

The summer signing from Mainz kept a clean sheet on his competitive debut for the club in Tuesday's 3-0 EFL Cup win over Derby County.

Klopp makes two other changes to the side that won at Stamford Bridge, with Daniel Sturridge dropping out for Roberto Firmino.

Dejan Lovren also misses out with a viral infection. Ragnar Klavan makes his home debut.

Mike Phelan makes two changes to the side defeated by Arsenal last week, with David Marshall and Ryan Mason coming into the starting line-up.
