Manchester City to play Arsenal in pre-season friendly in Helsinki
The sides will play at the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital
Manchester City and Arsenal will wrap up their pre-season programmes by taking each other on in a friendly in Helsinki, the clubs have announced.
The sides will play at the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital on August 10, one week before the new Barclays Premier League season begins.
The two clubs faced each other in a friendly in Beijing last summer.
City chief executive Ferran Soriano said: "This is the perfect way to end our pre-season preparations before the 2013/14 campaign begins.
"We know Arsenal will provide our team with a very competitive match and we are looking forward to what should be a memorable occasion to close a pre-season tour that also sees us visit South Africa, Hong Kong and Germany."
The Gunners travel to Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan and host the annual Emirates Cup tournament in their other summer ventures.
Chief executive Ivan Gazidis said: "We have many passionate supporters in Finland, and it will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with them all in what will be our first-ever match in the country."
