Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has a number of injury concerns to contend with as he prepares his side to face West Ham at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Having drawn against high-flying Leicester City last time out, the Dutch boss will be keen so see his side return to winning ways.

However, that won't be simple against a West Ham side that have already claimed the scalps of Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool during their travels this season.

What makes the visit of Slaven Bilic's side even more difficult are the number of absentees for the game. Among those certain to be out are captain Wayne Rooney who has an ankle problem and Marcos Rojo, who it was revealed had dislocated his shoulder in training in midweek.

Here, we take a look at those certain to miss the game at Old Trafford and others who might be struggling to be ready...

Manchester United vs West Ham kicks off at 3pm this Saturday.
