There is likely to be a party atmosphere at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea’s first game since beating Bradford City 5-0 to lift the Capital One Cup last weekend.

With European football for next season guaranteed, Michael Laudrup’s side will be looking now be looking to cement their place in the top half.

They face Newcastle, who eased their relegation fears with a 4-2 win over Southampton on their last outing – their third win in their last four games.

Alan Pardew’s side currently sit in 13th place, six points above the drop zone.
