Manchester City continued their unbeaten start tot he Premier league season, although the were not at their best against Bournemouth who gave them a scare at the Etihad Stadium. Callum Wilson's equaliser cancelled out Bernardo Silva's opener, but second-half goals from Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan secured victory for Pep Guardiola's side as they stretch their lead to five points at the top of the table.
West Ham recorded an emphatic victory at Newcastle as a Javier Hernandez double, plus a third from Felipe Anderson, secured a convincing 3-0 win, while Leicester got the better of Watford with Jamie Vary and James Maddison securing the three points.
Huddersfield saw Mathias Jorgensen's early goal go to waste as Steve Mounier saw red in the first half before Brighton overturned the score thanks to goals from Shane Duffy and Florin Andone, while Crystal Palace beat Burnley 2-0 with goals from James McArthur and Andros Townsend. Good afternoon and welcome to The Independent's live coverage of today's Premier League action, starting with five games at 3pm.
League leaders Manchester City are in action as they host Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium, with the chance to increase the gap at the top to five points as Liverpool do not play until Sunday.
Newcastle United are looking to continue their recent up-turn in form as they face West Ham United, who have fallen behind the Magpies on goal difference, while Crystal Palace are looking to put some breathing space between them and the relegation zone as they host fellow-strugglers Burnley at Selhurst Park.
The final 3pm kick-off sees Leicester City take on Watford at the King Power Stadium as both teams look to keep pace with sixth-place Everton in the hunt for European football.
The one evening kick-off today sees Manchester United and Southampton meet at St Mary's, with Jose Mourinho's side looking to close the gap to the top five to keep their faint top-four hopes alive.

Huddersfield vs Brighton
Huddersfield come into the match with a three-game unbeaten run. They jumped from the bottom to 16th and could move four points clear of the relegation zone with victory today.
They are still in a vulnerable position though and will need to be at their best - especially as in-form Glenn Murray will be waiting for his opportunity on the Brighton bench.
Brighton though are without a win in three games but victory could push them up into 10th place should Leicester lose to Watford at home today.
Man City vs Bournemouth
Raheem Sterling will be the main man for Man City today. He has been involved in nine goals in five Premier League appearances against Bournemouth scoring seven and assisting two, averaging a goal or assist every 48 minutes.
