Marouane Fellaini and Robert Huth will both serve a three-match suspension with immediate effect after being charged with violent conduct which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video during the Manchester United v Leicester City match last weekend.

The United midfielder and City defender were involved in an minute incident during their fixture on Sunday 1 May when Huth pulled the hair of Fellaini and the Belgian responded by elbowing the German.

Both players accepted the charge, however, Huth contested that the standard penalty of a three-match suspension would be "clearly excessive".

This claim, however, was rejected following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing.

Fellaini will be available for the FA Cup final when United meet Crystal Palace. Huth will miss the champions' last two matches of the season plus the first of next season.
