Slaven Bilic: Table collapses as West Ham manager conducts press conference
The Croatian was able to continue afterwards
So far this season, a look at the table has brought Slaven Bilic nothing but pleasure with his West Ham team riding high in the Premier League.
But a more literal table made the Hammers boss rather uncomfortable this afternoon.
Speaking to the press ahead of his team's encounter with Everton this weekend, the table at which the Croatian was sitting at suddenly collapsed.
Whilst he might have tried to laugh off the situation, his initial reaction as the microphone covered table crumpled suggested it was rather painful.
A gaggle of concerned onlookers rushed to Bilic's aid, with no fewer than eight people filmed attempting to put everything back together. Once the table had been fixed and microphones returned, Bilic was able to continue with the press conference.
West Ham, currently sixth in Premier League, can potentially move third with victory at Upton Park this weekend. They play Everton at 3pm on Saturday.
