One-club man Paul Scholes made his debut for Manchester United in 1993, retired in 2011 but then came back this season after deciding he wasn't finished. One of England's most gifted individuals ever, he's won 10 Premier League titles, and after agreeing to stay on for one more year, could yet add to that.

The Premier League's top scorer. In his four years at Blackburn he scored 112 league goals - with over 30 a season in his last three years at the club. He also won the Premier League title there in 1994/95 before joining Newcastle in 1996. There he scored a further 148 league goals and is undoubtedly the most natural finisher in the history of the Premier League.
