It’s a big game for…

Arsenal: If Arsene Wenger’s side win and Manchester City fail to win against Liverpool, Arsenal will go top of the Premier League. A run of five wins in six games has put them firmly in the title race. They were quite fortunate to gain a point against Tottenham Hotspur last time out, so they’ll be hoping to improve on that performance when they travel to the Hawthorns.

Best stat…

10: The amount of times the sides have met since a West Brom win. A 3-2 win at the Emirates in 2010 was the last time the Baggies came out on top. Peter Odemwingie, Gonzalo Jara and Jerome Thomas were the scorers that day.

Remember when…

Russell Hoult gifted Jeremie Aliadiere a goal during Arsenal’s 2-0 win in the League Cup in 2003?

Player to watch…

Olivier Giroud: The Frenchman has been in good form recently, scoring five goals in his last six games for the North London side. With the likes of Mesut Özil and Alexis Sánchez around him, don’t be surprised if Giroud doesn’t add to his six Premier League goals so far when they take on a West Brom who have lost their last two.
