West Ham v Liverpool team news: Mamadou Sakho replaces Daniel Agger as Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge both start
SAS can break the record of Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton if one of them score
Liverpool and West Ham each made just one change ahead of their crucial game at Upton Park.
Brendan Rodgers' side, seeking a win to return to the top of the Premier League, brought Mamadou Sakho into the centre of their back four in place of Daniel Agger, possibly in an attempt to counter the physical threat posed by the Hammers’ former Liverpool striker Andy Carroll.
Sam Allardyce handed on-loan Napoli left-back Pablo Armero his first start for the club, with George McCartney sidelined with a knee injury. Club captain Kevin Nolan is fit though, after he overcame a back problem.
Line-ups:
West Ham: Adrian, Demel, Tomkins, Reid, Armero, Noble, Taylor, Downing, Nolan, Diame, Carroll.
Subs: Jarvis, Jaaskelainen, Carlton Cole, Joe Cole, Potts, Johnson, Nocerino.
Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Sakho, Flanagan, Henderson, Gerrard, Coutinho, Sterling Sturridge, Suarez.
