Angel Di Maria has 'one foot in Paris' and will join Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to reports in France.
The Argentina winger, who is expected to miss the start of the season after being injured in the Copa America final, was linked with a move to the Ligue 1 champions before joining Manchester United for a British record fee last summer.
With PSG's Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions now lifted, a report in French newspaper Le Parisien says that the club are willing to pay Manchester United's 'asking price' of €60million (£43m) for Di Maria, who struggled in his first season in England.
A deal is yet to be agreed between the player and the club and no formal offer is yet to be made. But the Paris daily says Di Maria 'has one foot' in the French capital.
PSG were said to be in pole position for the former Real Madrid man last summer, but after the £50m signing of David Luiz and FFP, they were unable to sign him.
The paper reports that president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has maintained contact with Di Maria throughout the last year.
