Arsenal have beaten Manchester United in the race to sign French teenager Yassin Fortune, according to reports.

The 16-year-old Lens forward has been tracked by both clubs in recent months with scouts apparently watching him for his club and for France Under-16s in matches against Switzerland and England.

Arsenal have agreed a deal worth up to £3million, according to the Daily Mail, which was considered to much by Manchester United.

Fortune can play across the front three and will apparently sign a three-year deal that will include two years as a scholar and a year on professional terms.

Memphis Depay completed a medical at Manchester United's Carrington training ground on Monday night after his £25m move from PSV.
