A deal to bring Arturo Vidal to Arsenal is already complete, claims an Argentinian journalist.

Hernan Feler, who works for DirecTV, says that whilst a deal is in place, the Juventus and Chile midfielder will not be announced at the Emirates until after the team finish their participation in this summer's Copa America.

Feler, apparently the man who broke news of Alexis Sanchez's move to Arsenal, Tweeted: "After the Copa America in Chile, it will be made official the arrival of Arturo Vidal to Arsenal.

"Everything is closed. Alexis [Sanchez] will partner him."

The midfielder also shares an agent, Fernando Felicevich, with Sanchez.

Vidal, 28, would apparently cost around £25million. The energetic midfielder has been an absolutely vital part of Juventus' success this season, the Serie A giants two-thirds of their way through a treble.

They face Barcelona in the Champions League final on 6 June.
