Chelsea transfer news: Oscar admits PSG 'contact' but says he is staying at Stamford Bridge

The Brazilian midfielder has been linked with a move to the Parc des Princes but has pledged his immediate future to staying with the Premier League title contenders

Chelsea playmaker Oscar has revealed he had contact with Paris Saint-Germain about a move to the Ligue 1 champions, but says he is going nowhere.

The 22-year-old, who joined the Blues from Internacional for £25 million two years ago, became a key player for the team under Jose Mourinho last season as he begun the campaign superb form, edging Juan Mata out of a regular spot in the side.

However, he found himself on the fringes during the latter part of the season due to a dip in form, and did not feature in either of the Champions League quarter-final clashes with PSG.

PSG coach Laurent Blanc refused to rule out a move for Oscar or Eden Hazard towards the end of the season as the sides prepared to meet. But the midfielder, who has impressed with Brazil at the World Cup, insists his future lies in London.

"My future? I had contacts with PSG, that is true, but it did not go any further," he told L'Equipe.

"And next season, I will stay at Chelsea."

Chelsea have already added Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas to their squad for next season and it has been suggested that Oscar could be replaced in the team if his performances do not improve.

Oscar has made 111 appearances for the West London outfit, scoring 23 goals.
