Chelsea sent scouts to watch Juventus star Paul Pogba this week, according to reports in Italy.
The Frenchman has long been linked with an exit from the reigning Serie A champions and was said to be the subject of a bid from the Blues last summer.
According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the Blues had players in the stands at the San Siro as Juventus narrowly beat Internazionale in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final.
Maximiliano Allegri's side entered the game with a three goal advantage but Inter staged a brilliant comeback, winning 3-0 and taking the game to penalties - Juventus scored all five of their spot-kicks meaning Rodrigo Palacio's miss was vital.
Pogba, 22, is rated at £70million, with Manchester City and former club Manchester United also among the Premier League clubs chasing him.
The midfielder has five goals ans seven assists in 32 appearances for the Old Lady this season.
He has also been linked with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
