Edinson Cavani has said he will remain at Paris St Germain, despite strong speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United .
The Uruguay international had apparently been ear-marked as a suitable replacement for Radamel Falcao, who has failed to make an impact at Old Trafford during his loan spell from Monaco.
Cavani has long been linked with a switch away from PSG, but the powerful 28-year-old denies he will be leaving the French capital this summer.
"There is too much talk about my future but I will remain here," he said after his side's 3-1 Champions League defeat to Barcelona .
"I will respect my contract and I'm only focusing on doing well for PSG."
