Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has again been linked with a move to Manchester United should David De Gea move to Real Madrid, according to reports.

French newspaper L'Equipe reports that it is a 'decisive week' for Real Madrid in their pursuit of the Spanish goalkeeper and could offer the Premier League club €30million (£21m) to push through a move.

De Gea is out of contract at the end of the season and Real Madrid could wait, but there is speculation that the 24-year-old is not prepared to wait a year.

The paper also reports that Lloris would be 'delighted' with a move to Old Trafford, but Spurs fans will know that the French paper has been a constant source of Lloris to United gossip.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would likely drive a hard bargain for Lloris, who at 28 is the club captain and about to enter his prime.

Manchester United host Tottenham at Old Trafford in the opening game of the Premier League on Saturday, Lloris is a doubt for the game because of a wrist injury.
