The 21-year-old joined the Gunners in 2011, but has been out on three loans spells, to Lorient in 2011, Real Beits in 202, and Olympiakos last season. He obtained a work permit to enable him to play in England last year.
"He will definitely come back to us for pre-season," Wenger who is over in Brazil on commentary duty for France television, said. "He is maturing well."
