Kolo Toure has interested Turkish club Trabzonspor, according to the reports.

The defender has entered the final year of his contract with Liverpool, and could soon be surplus to requirements at Anfield with the expected £20m transfer of Dejan Lovren from Southampton.

Toure joined Liverpool on a free transfer from Manchester City last May, and made 20 Premier League appearances for the club last season.

In total, the Ivorian has made 327 appearances in the English top flight, and has won the league title twice - in 2004 as part of the 'Invincibles' Arsenal side, and in 2012 with City.

The Reds have spent £60m this summer, after they completed their fourth signing of the summer yesterday after Lazar Markovic joined from Benfica,. The club have also recently completed deals for Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Emre Can.
