Napoli insist Ezequiel Lavezzi will not be leaving the club in the winter transfer window amid reported interest from Chelsea.

Argentina forward Lavezzi is a reported target of the Premier League side while Slovakian midfielder Marek Hamsik has been strongly linked with a move to Inter Milan.

However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has reiterated his star duo will not be sold.

"We are not interested in money," he said.

"We are following a project and we don't want to start over. I would only sell one of my top players if I see that he has become a hot potato.

"If that was the case, I would not hesitate but otherwise, I keep hold of all of my players."

Hamsik is Napoli's top scorer this season with seven goals notched while Lavezzi has struck four times to help the Partenopei remain in fifth position in the Serie A standings.
