Cristiano Ronaldo could yet finish his career in England, his close friend and former Sporting Lisbon academy team-mate Jose Semedo has said.
Semedo, who plays for Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, has known the Real Madrid forward for a long time, and says that Ronaldo "wouldn't like to finish his career without coming back to England".
The 30-year-old Ronaldo's current contract at Real ends in 2018.
"He is very happy at Real Madrid and he loves English football, he loves English people and deep down I think he will come back to England," Semedo told Talksport.
“He wouldn’t like to finish his career without coming back to England.

“He said he would wish Real Madrid is in England, but that is not possible so I believe he will end his career in English football.”
Ronaldo has been linked with a Manchester United return in recent seasons. The forward left United to join Real Madrid for a then-world record £80m in 2009.
