Manchester United target Dani Alves in 'advanced' talks over transfer from Barcelona
The full-back is out of contract in the summer
Dani Alves, who has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, is in "advanced" talks with an un-named club according to his agent.
The Brazilian full-back will be out of contract with Barcelona at the end of the season and is within his rights to discuss his future with other clubs.
A switch to Old Trafford has been mooted and Alves seems an increasingly logical target in light of current problems in the right-back department at Manchester United.
The 31-year-old's agent says Alves is close to signing with another team but revealed that Barcelona still have time to launch a counter-offer for a player that has helped the club win four La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies during his time at the Nou Camp.
"We are close to signing for another club, talks are advanced," Dinorah Santana told Spanish radio station RAC1.
"Barca? Dani is still available, but he will not wait much more,” she added.
