Neymar was in London last night in attendance at the PFA Awards after party.

The sight of the Brazil international in England will only fuel speculation that he could be planning a more permanent move.

The striker did not attend the PFA Awards ceremony itself but was pictured leaving London's Libertine Club, where the after party was held, in the early hours of the morning.

The Barcelona player has long been linked with a switch to the Premier League, with Manchester United in particular regularly connected with an audacious bid to sign the striker.

That speculation increased recently when the player became the focus of Barcelona fans' frustrations. Amid a run of results that saw the club exit the Champions League and let Real Madrid and Atletico back into the title race Neymar came in for much criticism. A vote carried out by Spanish publication Diario Sport showed that 71 per cent of those polled would sell Neymar for his buy-out clause of £150m.

Neymar has scored 29 goals in 45 games for Barcelona this term to form a third of the most feared striking trio in the world alongside Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

Should Neymar become available this summer, Manchester City and PSG would also have the desire and necessary financial clout to compete for the 24-year-old's services.
