QPR and Tottenham target Yann M'Vila looks likely to join Russian Premier League side Rubin Kazan, according to reports in France.

The Rennes midfielder would be an ideal replacement at Spurs for Sandro, who is out for the rest of the season following knee ligament surgery, while QPR boss Harry Redknapp is keen on bringing the 22-year-old to Loftus Road after snaring international team-mate Loic Remy.

Everton have also expressed an interest in M'Vila, although initially on a loan basis.

However, L'Equipe reports that Rennes general manager Pierre Dreossi has indicated the midfielder would leave the club before the end of this month, with his destination believed to be the former Russian champions.

It is believed the deal for M'Vila will be finalised today with the midfielder signing a four-year deal with Rubin, worth in excess of £3million a season.
