SPURS ARRIVALS…

Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike continues to be linked with a move to White Hart Lane after his agent claimed Tottenham remain in the hunt for the Nigeria international. With Harry Kane the only in form striker at the club, Emenike’s agent has explained how he is not surprised that they want to sign the £15m-rated striker, although he also confirmed that Spurs are yet to make any offer.

Emenike’s agent Erdem Konyar said: “Tottenham only really have one striker right now so it is not a surprise that they are interested. However, I do not think Fenerbahce have received an official bid yet. If Fenerbahce give us permission we could enter negotiations.”

Another striker said to be on Mauricio Pochettino’s radar is Carlos Bacca of Seville. The Colombian has notched 10 goals in 17 La Liga appearances this season, and the Daily Express claims Pochettino wants to sign him to link him up in a two-man attack alongside Kane in order to push on with their top-four challenge. It could spell the end for Roberto Soldado in the Premier league, with the Spanish forward rumoured to have been offered in a part-exchange deal for Bacca.

ON THEIR WAY OUT…

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor is believed to be in talks with Italian side Parma over a January move, but his hefty wage demands could scupper any chance of a move for the out-of-favour forward. Adebayor has very much become the forgotten man at White Hart Lane (again) and news emerged that he could be a surprise target for Serie A side Adebayor. However, the Evening Standard reports that Adebayor’s pay demands of around £100,000-a-week are currently blocking any move, and the Italian club will need Spurs to contribute for that if they are to take on the Togolese striker – something the Premier League club are not willing to do.

They are prepared to let Adebayor leave though should the right terms be agreed, with reported interested also coming from Qatar and the United States with a move to the MLS rumoured to be on the cards.

Paulinho also looks to be on his way out of the club although he may still stay in Europe after the Daily Express claimed Italian champions Juventus are willing to take a gamble on the Brazilian flop. The midfielder joined Spurs for £17m two seasons’ ago and was even linked with a move to Chelsea last summer, but a dramatic fall from grace has seen him drop out of Pochettino’s first-team plans and has paved the way for a January exit.

The future of Aaron Lennon remains unclear too, with reported interest coming from Stoke after they saw Oussama Assaidi’s loan end early. Assaidi had not had the desired effect this season and his parent club Liverpool elected to sell him for £4.7m to Dubai outfit Al Ahli. With Mark Hughes on the lookout for a replacement, Lennon is believed to be top of his wish list, and Spurs could be willing to let Lennon go if the fee matches their valuation.

STAYING…

It looks like Younes Kaboul will remain at the club despite falling behind Jan Vertonghen and Federico Fazio in the centre-back pecking order after Spurs rejected an approach form Turkish side Besiktas. Club vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi confirmed that the two sides had been unable to reach an agreement on a price for the Frenchman, although Besiktas could still return with an improved offer.

"Younes Kaboul was on our shortlist but unfortunately we have not been able to agree on price,” said Nur Cebi. "I do not see this transfer as being financially viable, we cannot meet the price Tottenham want for him, the only way this deal can go ahead is if we agree on price."
