Strikers are always in vogue.

But this January they might be even more sought after than usual, with a number of Premier League clubs desperate to add striking reinforcements for one reason or another.

Manchester United continue to struggle in front of goal. Arsenal can't rely on the fitness of Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud. Tottenham need a reliable replacement for Harry Kane. Diego Costa has pretty much lost all his form and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho doesn't appear to trust Loic Remy or Radamel Falcao.

With bundles of new TV money coming into the game from next season then the clubs near the bottom of the league will know that a successful gamble during the window will help their chances of staying up - leading to a massive cash injection.

Several players forever seem linked with a move to the Premier League, we've looked at 17 potential targets who are currently on the radars at the moment.

Some seem like nailed on certainties while others are rather more fanciful.
